Now in its 6th year in Aylesbury - a Gospel Choir learning songs of freedom, hope, support, & light - and about journeying with and towards God through life's highs and lows.
Everyone is welcome. Do get in touch if you'd like to know more or to come along. The emphasis is on enjoying singing. There are no auditions and no sight music to use - so there's no music reading ability required. Learning of songs will be in a fun style - learning by ear and working out how to get our voices to sound right together. We ask for a very small voluntary contribution each week, if you can afford it, to help us with heating, electric, and use of the church.
Join us for our summer concert at
HOLY TRINITY AYLESBURY
on SATURDAY JULY 11th
at 11AM:
A free concert where we'll share with you the songs we've been learning over the last few months. Always a great, fun event - with great songs performed by the ACGC and maybe even one or two chances to join in.
The Holy Trinity Cafe will be open from 10AM - so you can come along buy some coffee and cake, and settle in for a musical morning! Hope to see you there!!

Sarah leads the choir in learning the songs, and has done this before in Northwood Hills in Greater London. Since moving to Aylesbury she was delighted to get the Aylesbury Community Gospel Choir off the ground with Holy Trinity Church in Walton Street, Aylesbury. HP21 7QX. That's where we met in early 2020 until the lockdown for the pandemic hit. We then had a couple of seasons as an online version via zoom - which had challenges, but we still managed to have fun and practice some songs.
Some of what we did from autumn 2021 to summer 2022 was impacted by covid waves, but we managed to make some videos all together - and finally in July 2022 held our first concert in Holy Trinity Aylesbury. It was a wonderful culmination after all the stop start of 2020 and 2021, and so rewarding to perform in front of real people!! Everyone seemed to have a good time.
We've now had another few terms of singing together and contributed to the Holy Trinity Carol Service in December 2022, 2023, 2024, & 2025 sang at a Canalside Celebration in Aylesbury in April 2023 and Berryfields Christmas Celebration in Dec 2023. Plus we've held our concerts in July 2022, 2023, 2024, & 2025 which have been really uplifting gatherings

It's always so good to be back singing together - we do have fun.
Our gathering is informal, fun, inclusive, and welcoming.
